I think my lipth are thwollen.

I didn't drink nearly enough water on the 4th of July. I didn't realize how badly I was dehydrated until we got back to Chris's house and my lips were "chapped real bad". (Name that movie.) The next day Ryan and I went to Mike and Amy's to help them build their fence. I drank water all day and only went potty once. TMI, I know. I've now been blessed with 6 cold sores. Yes, 6 of them.

My lips are swollen. Chapped and swollen. I was making dinner last night and felt drool on my chin. It's like I've been to the dentist and the anesthesia hasn't worn off yet.

I think I'll get a glass of water right now.

What is it with me and food?

I have a confession. I've hemmed and hawed (I have no idea if that's how you spell hemmed and hawed but I say that all the time.) I've hemmed and hawed about whether or not to blog about this story. Well, I've come to a conclusion. I would rather make people laugh than hold back such a gem of a story, even if I am the object of the laughter.

I was at work a couple of weeks ago and I didn't bring my lunch. I had a protien shake for breakfast at 5:30 in the morning and those things only hold me over for about 2 hours. I was starving. I had the shakes. I couldn't concentrate. I don't like to eat fast food lunches, I don't want to spend the money, I mean they have too many calories. Just as I was contemplating forking out 5 bucks for Wendy's, I saw it. My co-worker had thrown away a bag of Sour Cream and Chives potato chips. She brought some from home in a gallon bag, ate what she wanted and threw the rest away. What was a girl to do? I didn't even hesitate. I snatched that bag right out of the garbage and ate every last crumb.

I guess I can relate to this guy.

I don't regret it.

Wallowing in sorrow.

I've been much too depressed to post anything lately. When my sister and her kids were here visiting, we had such a great day at the lake. I had photos of Jack and Creed wakeboarding, Stella grinning at me in her cavewoman swimsuit wearing Ryan's sunglasses, Creed enjoying a Coke in the back seat of the Yukon after hours of swimming, Jack sporting the sweetest lifejacket known to man, Baby George chillin' on the boat stuffed way up under the nose under the driver seat, a group shot Me, Ryan, Mom, Liz, Jack, Creed, Stella, George, Auntie Kim, and Chris Garff. I accidentally deleted EVERYTHING before I got it downloaded. I've been in mourning. Too depressing to think about. Cannot continue posting.

Couldn't come up with a title.

For the first 6 months of our marriage Ryan and I played Backgammon all the time. We took it pretty seriously. We had a dry erase board hung up in our basement keeping track of the record. I felt like the Boston Celtics. Destined for Championship. At one point in time we (Ryan) decided we shouldn't play anymore. It was bad for our marriage. (He was tired of losing.)

When Ryan and I woke up this morning to head to the gym I asked him the same question I ask him every morning. "Wanna play racquetball for cardio today?" Every time the answer is the same. "No, I'm just gonna stick to my workout." In the beginning I would plead and tell him I'd take it easy on him since he would be a rookie. He would laugh and ignore me. We'd head to the treadmills, run together then separate for the remaining of the work out. Today when I asked him he said okay.

He kicked my trash all three games. At one point in time he warned me he wouldn't keep playing with me if I kept up my fits. There was no racquet throwing, just ball throwing, which is much more sportsmanlike. Like I really thought I had a chance of beating Ryan at racquetball. He could play one handed and still beat me.

At least I've got Backgammon.

Is $1.70 worth your eternal salvation?

I don't know why I let it bother me so much when I see people with water cups at restaurants and filling them up with pop. Is it any of my business that they don't mind teaching their children that it's okay to steal? No. Then, why do I stare so angrily at them as I wait my turn at the fountain for the Diet Coke while a family fills up 5 water cups with DC? I bet these are the same people who pass traffic in the shoulder because it's at a dead stop because of construction. Or the same people who make right hand turns from the center straight only lane because there are too many cars waiting patiently to turn from the proper lane and their time is much to valuable to wait for their turn (I'm pretty sure I'll get in a wreck one of these days because I have to deal with this EVERYDAY after work and I purposely make REALLY wide turns into the center lane to teach those buggers a lesson. Turning left from the center lane. Geez.) Or the same people who blog at work while they are getting paid to work. Oops.

At least I don't steal pop from Cafe Rio.
