My Baby

One Minute Old

One Day Old

The 0-3 Months Onsie is way too big for a baby who is 4lbs 15 ounces.

2 Days Old. We just got home from the hospital. Yes, he is quite yellow.

On the Bilibed to get rid of the Jaundice.

He's all better, off the lights, and one week old, and wearing a onsie that fits him.

I love love love my baby.

Maybe one day I'll tell the delivery story. It's a good one.

I gotta go stare at him sleep now.

I've Been Thinking...

The Malt O Meal Shredded Mini Spooners are waaay better than Frosted Mini Wheats. They have more sugary topping and hold together better in the milk. (or Lactaid in my case)

How do you know when your mascara is all gone?

Diet 7UP is really good.

I've never been able to open a yogurt without having it spit on me. Today I had Blackberry Pomegranate.

I'm ready for another Harry Potter movie to come out.

Buttermilk really does go rotten. I know it tastes rotten even when it's not, just trust the expiration date. I wish I would have.

If you know anyone who's remodeling their house and they are going to re-finish their hardwood floors, tell them to do that last. It will save them a lot of heartache.

I agree with Dr. Laura about 99% of the time. She and I differ on our opinion of home schooling.

I'm taking down my Christmas decorations this weekend. I promise.

Blog Etiquette

What is the proper blog etiquette for replying to a comment on your blog? Do you make a seperate post? Reply in your own comment section? Leave a comment on the blog in which you wish to reply?

I just don't know.

Diana, yes I am lucky to have a house. But you have to remember that I probably pay as much for my house as you do for your apartment. You just happen to live a few blocks from the beach.

Dallas, thanks for saying that that post wasn't boring. That actually put a big smile on my face that I didn't put any make-up on this morning. We got Ry's W2 yesterday so I'll be getting my tax stuff to you straigt away. I realize that you and I probably have the same readers of our blog, but if there's anyone out there who is looking for someone to do their taxes, Dallas is your man. He's awesome.

I'm a Shadow

I remember growing up and following my mom all around the house. If she was going to make her bed I would follow her. If she was going to work in the kitchen, I would follow her. I remember this very clearly.

I've been feeling like that again lately. We are currently doing a fairly large remodel in our house. Last night, I just followed Ry everywhere he went. I tried to be helpful in the process, having the tool ready that he was going to need and so on, but I told him about how I remembered following my mom everywhere when I was a kid, and his reply was "I bet she just loved that."

Maybe he was giving me a hint that I could serve a better purpose in the kitchen or something.

Seriously, this is such a boring post, but it's all I got.
